i like the mod the way it is, the question was more geared towards zencart admin itself, not the mod...

is there a way in admin to sort a master list of products, that disregards category, and simply goes 1 thru xx by ID number?

Im talking about the admin, actually.

BTW, you can use id instead of model by going to the configuration setting and choose to use id instead
