How to create navigations like in Amazon / Yahoo! Mail?

Hi!

How do you created these kind of navigations in ZC?




The ones that you click an item and it then changes to a different image or bg color, etc.?
How can the header_tpl.php detect that one item has been clicked?
Has anyone done that before?

Im programing a tabs module that is exacly what you want. Im using that function to put in ez-pages. Im making the tabs with Domtabs module (i think you could find it on the download section, but if you dont, i atached the file), but when i finished i dont know if it works on ez-pages because the html file as atached a css and a javascript to work as i intented, though, it works ok in html pages.
Im trying to figure out what can be done to translate the code from html to php, and where are located the ez-pages in my site root.

I atached the file that i'm working (the original one) and if you could help with this issue i would apriciated.

EZ-pages are stored in your database, not in files in your site structure.

I don't know about Domtabs, but you can get navigation tabs to behave as you are asking with CSS operating on the built-in classes in the categories and probably categories-tabs menus.

Look at tpl_categories.php to see how the classes are assigned, and view source on various stages of selected categories will show the classes in action.

Yes, i´ve done it.
Simply refer to the location of the css and jscript in the domtab.
You can also put images in the navigation buttons.
