And by default, this one entry is suppose to be in there to manage TEXT attributes ...

Someone... ? Perhaps my alter-ego, as I'm the only one who takes a chainsaw to the back-end stuff!

Just wanted to chime in and say that this just happened to me... I added the SQL statement (thanks!) and it is back.

FYI - I have about 42 attributes in this store, but text was never used until now, and then it was not there when I did want to use it.

Nothing was different about any of my other attributes, so I am not sure that any back-end oops is the problem.

I have quite a few mods, but in looking through the thread I am guessing that we (who are missing the text attribute) must have SOME kind of mod (or something) in common...

Thanks to everyone who added to this info, it got my shop back to being ready for sales after a quick forum search!
