Zones Table Rate Shipping Module

Kauai i made a module that duplicates the table rate module, so you could use that 1 for continental us and one for the other states

yup, I finally did that after pulling my hair all morning. Thanks for the info. Making duplicates of the shipping and setting one for continental and one for alaska and hawaii was the answer.

i'm using zencart ver. 1.3.8.

i've installed the module + it gave the yellow light that based on the previous posts- just ignore it + it will still work.

my problem is, the shipping module not even appeared as one of the option of shipping method in choosing the shipping method process.

i've divided it to 2 zones: west msia + east msia with respective states on each zone.

PLEASE, if anyone can help..!!

Just trying to figure out what this mod actually does and if it will do what I need...

I have ZC 1.3.8a

I currently have 3 Zones set up.

I want to have a different table rate for each zone.

Is that what this mod does?

Hi manzili, i think i am having the same problem as u. Can you tell me how did u resolve ur problem?

Adding the Zone doesn't "show" in the checkout but rather "filters" when the module displays based on the address ...

If the address is within the Zone, then the module will show ... if it is not part of the Zone, then the module will not show ...

In the address details filled in by buyer, they only fill in Street Address, Address Line 2, City, State/Province, Post/Zip Code, and Country.

Which detail in the address that will be used to match the Zone?

The matching zone_id and country_id are used from the address_book on the fields:
entry_country_id
entry_zone_id

but, when i set no zone, it work well..why??

The yellow icon means that you have Zones set ... this should be fine ...

Check your Zone Definitions and check the Details to see that you have setup the Country and Zone(s) that each Zone Definition is for ...

Example, if you have a UK Zone Definition, click on Details and make sure you have added to it a Detail for:
Country: United Kingdom
Zone: All Zones

Then check what you are using on the Shipping module itself for the rates ...

If you click on the Module, what do you see in the right panel?
