To have Zonetable provide more than one shipping option in a geographic area you need to "clone" it, which means to make a copy of both of the zonetable.php files, both renaming each, and making text edits in each.

I've attached ones that I made, make sure you put each file in the correct directory (as indicated in the filename -- you must rename both files to zonetableCourier.php for this example).

I'm having a similar problem. I want to have two zones available for each state, one that is for a commercial address and one for a residential address. Only one zone, residential, shows after a user selects his state. Any advice?

Hello All,

The string needed for zonetable shipping costs takes some time to prepare, and will likely need changes from the post office or other shipper tables (for example to include a fuel surcharge, insurance, or taxes), and then it needs to be updated when the shipping rates change. I have attached a spreadsheet to help with this.

Put your shipping weights in column A and the costs in column B (and update/add whatever changes are needed to these costs).

You can then just copy the string from cell A30 of the spreadsheet into the zonetable zone configuration.

I have a problem, i installed the module without any problem but when the customer will select the area only shows me one, I try to put 2 and several but only shows me the last area at the time of payment. Please hellp me

I'm using Version 1.38a, original install

I've installed the Zones Table Rate Shipping addon with great success, only to be told that we also need to trigger certain categories as Haz-Mat for non-continental US shipping. I've played around with some different modifications to try to trigger 1 install of this add-on off and a clone with the Haz-Mat rates on but am having no success so far. It seems to be ignoring my check thus far. If anyone has a workaround for this it would be greatly appreciated.

I think I've finally figured out this mod. There's no read me (unless I missed it) in the file...took me a while to skim through this thread to get an idea of where to start.

Anywho, can I set up different shipping options per zone? I would like to offer 2 per shipping zones. I see there's another mod that does this. Do I install that one or does this mod have the capabilities? Thanks!

I am upgrading from 1.3.8a to 1.3.9g
I have 2 shipping zones in my active site US and also Canada that are working great.

Now upgrading my demo site I have copied my tablecanada.php to the paths. the language in the language and the mod into the mod.
Installed and Configured in the admin
howeverthe tablecanada is showing 0.0 at checkout.

So I must be missing something. Suggestions?

I am tring to get the zone table rate module to work for me so I can do next day or 3-5 day shipping options for the UK.
I have set up the zone definitions and tax rates and then the zone table rates as follows

Unfortunately when I go to checkout step1 of 3 delivery information it only offers the GB next day option !!!!!!

On your Zone Definition ... if you go to the Zone Definition for:
GB 3-5

what are the Details setup for?

under zone definitions there are 2 Zones:-

GB 3-5 and GB Next Day each with a description and green radio button.
If you click on details for GB 3-5 then you get Zone Definition : United Kingdom and Zone: All Zones
