Missing Product Types Screen?

Hi all, this is my second time setting up a ZC site so this problem is really odd!

I've been trying to add products to my categories but when I go to the select box to choose Product-General it's blank, in fact, there are no choices at all. So, I did a check on my "Catalog -> Product Types" and there is no Product Types screen!

Can anyone tell me what is going on here? Thanks.

Sounds like your product_types and product_type_layout tables are empty in the database.
And if *they* are empty ... who knows how many others are also incomplete? Need to find out *why*.

Do you think that it's a bad install of ZC? I have ZC set up in a subdirectory, if that makes any difference because my friend (who I am doing this for), has an OS Commerce install on her main (root?) directory.

BTW, I have another ZC install but using an add-on domain that works fine.

Subdirectory doesn't usually matter.

Sounds like your installation didn't complete properly, or else something you've added or changed or played with has emptied those tables ... and maybe more.
Probably wise to do a fresh install.

I think you're probably right. We're just going to blow away everything and reinstall. Thanks!
