I'm in the process of writing the description about my site - and as I've saved it & looked at it - I see that it is just one major blob - even though I've double/triple spaced as I typed it all shows up as one big paragraph.

Can you teach me (simply) how to fix this? It might be over my head - as I know NOTHING about ZEN - I'm just wading through it all right now...

Are you entering your description in the Define Pages Editor in admin > Tools? That will treat anything you enter as HTML coded text, so it ignores carriage returns. To get a new line, put <br /> where you want a break. You can use multiple <br /> tags for more spacing.

You can also use the paragraph tag <p> at the beginning of every paragraph and </p> at the end of every one.

You can use an HTML editor in admin to do these things for you, but like learning to drive on a stick shift I prefer to understand how to do it myself.

For a good basic introduction to HTML, look at w3schools.com - they have everything from beginner to advanced in HTML, CSS and PHP, all of which you will eventually want to know something about.
