I'm still baffled at how poorly-written most of these add-on instructions are.
In the text file that accompanies the Cross Sell module, the following instructions don't make sense:
1. "4. Open includes/languages/english/product_info.php
or includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE/product_info.php
and add:"
****What is meant by "or"? I hesitate to assume anything in this world.
2. The SAMPLE_ADDITIONS_TO_product_info_LANGUAGE_FILE.php can be used for this by copying its contents into product_info.php
****Huh?
3. "4.b. - Repeat step 4 for each of the other product types you intend to use (ie: product_music_info, document_general_info, etc)."
****Again, confused.
4. "5. Now edit your product-info template file (tpl_product_info_display.php) and insert the following code
at the point where you wish the Cross-Sell box to appear. Usually best at the end of the file:"
****Where am I supposed to find (tpl_product_info_display.php)?
And finally:

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE
=========================
"Adding Cross-Sell details:
Open Admin->Catalog->Cross Sell Products and pick a product to add products to. Hit edit, add products. Hit Save."
****Open Admin? If I login to my admin pages and hover over Catalog, there is no mention of Cross Sell Products in the menu at all. At this point, I'm totally stuck.
Any help is greatly appreciated, and please, developers, write clear and concise manuals if you intend to publish your work, it adds credibility and may even prompt us to pay you for your work.

I think it's the other way around. If some (more than the current one out of 10.000 users) would be willing to pay for the contributions, the developers would probably be able to take more time to write manuals (or even be able to hire someone to to do it).
