Hullo, new poster - please be gentle. :)
I'm setting up a Zen Cart for a small, nonprofit theater through which we will sell tickets and take donations. I've set up Tickets and Donations as separate Categories. Each show is another Subcategory under "Tickets," and each date of the show is a separate Product under the show's Category. (This seemed simpler, at least for now, than using Attributes and setting up the Stock by Attributes module.) Donations are listed under the Donations category as a Product entitled "Tax-Deductible Donations."
I have two questions:
1) Is there a way to list the base price, and then have a $1 service charge added per each individual ticket (unit) ordered? I know I could just bump the price of each ticket up $1, but I'd prefer to display the base price with a note that says a $1 service fee will be added for each ticket, rather than to display odd prices like $11, $16 and $21. (Donations, however, should not have a service charge added - only tickets.)
2) I'd like to supress the price on the "Tax-Deductible Donations" product page. I wanted our patrons to be able to enter their own amount, so I set up the price as $1, in unit increments of 1. The unfortunate (if amusing) side-effect of this is that the product page displays the price of a donation as $1. It would be greatly preferable to be able to turn this off. :)
(In fact, if price display can be surpressed, that might be the solution I'm looking for for both problems, as I can put the base price on the show's Category page and Product pages manually...)
Thanks!
