USPS First Class not calculating

I am completely new at this, and am nowhere near savvy. I have my shipping module set up for priority, first class, and parcel post shipping. First class shipping is not calculating when I go to check out. I don't know how to fix it. I've edited the settings to see if maybe it didn't catch it for some reason, but it still won't recognize it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is your item over 13 ounces? (weight limit on First class)

Nope. The item weighs less than an ounce. I have it set up in products as .01 lbs. When it's fully packaged, it weighs approximately 4 oz.

Check the Tare weight in the admin - and make sure it is correct. Is it returning rates for the other classes?

The tare is set at 0:3. That would mean there is no percentage of the shipping weight factored into cost until it hist 3lbs, correct?

I do appreciate your help. This is an area I am neither familiar nor comfortable with.

I changed the tare to 0:0 for both small and large packages. First class is now showing at checkout. Thanks!

:) the 3 on the right meant add 3 POUNDS
