Need help changing colors of my site

Need help changing colors of my site. I just had a new logo created and has a different color scheme. I bought a template which has been fine for my old design, but going through the forum all the things i try don't seem to work. I am not sure if it's bcuz of being a custom template. Anyways, any help would be appreciated. I am looking to change the dark gray border to white ( at least to start with, bcuz i would also like my site wider) my site is www.myhomeplay.com

I checked your CSS file and that is where you will make the color changes.

The key to finding the location in the css is by viewing your page source <ctrl>+<u> in MFF or Menu>>view>>page Source for IE. and looking for the class= or ID=
