    Default Disabled Categories Showing in Meta Keywords

    zen 1.2.3 -> 1.37

    If you disable a category in admin, the disabled category name still appears in the meta keywords when you do a view source on the index page of the shop.

    Small thing, but maybe could cause unnecessary visitors if you had a category that you used infrequently each year - eg. 'Tickets for xxx event' - or perhaps bad marks with Google for having a keyword(s) that doesn't relate to a product on your site.

    I think when you were upgrading you must have missed an update to the /includes/modules/meta_tags.php file ... or else you have a custom /includes/modules/YOURTEMPLATE/meta_tags.php file that you haven't upgraded yet ... because 1.3.7 does do the check on whether the categories-status is enabled or not.

    AFAIK, Google ignores the meta keywords tag. To easily rigged by spammers.
