Are sub-categories required?

Hi, I have around 6 categories of products based on tv characters. These naturally show in the categories list. Is it possible to have another navigation that searches by character? See this image for the general idea where someone's come up with a 'Quickshop by Character'..... www.undergroundtoys.co.uk/fgimage/templateV1.gif

Think the only way to deal with is to create separate categories, duplicating products listings.....

Products can be duplicated or Linked to other Categories ...

Linked Products allow for 1 Product to be displayed in multiple categories with 1 of the multiple categories being the Master Category ...

This Master Category is what is used for pricing and navigation (v1.3.8) when current category is unknown ...

Thanks for the reply.... found this descrip in tutorials/FAQ (https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=216) but it doesn't explain how you create a linked product....

Ok, figured it out.... find the product you want linked and click on 'Copy' ('C' on the right hand side). It then gives you the option to Link the product to another category, or copy it wholesale....
