    Default fix_cache_key.php Can not get it to run?

    Hello Folks,
    I have downloaded and placed the file in the root of the cart. I have this set up on linux FedoraCore 6 Apache as the server! Also this is set up virtualy so from the Apache root directory it gets forwarded to a public_html folder! I have tried to execute this by using the IP as well as the Domain name using several diffrent paths trying to get this to ececute. I believe the problem with my site since I moved its position on the server is being caused by what this utillity was designed to fix! www.petestown.com Anyone with a thought ?

    Are the permissions on your cache folder set to 777?

    Your URL is redirecting to your IP address. Check your configure.php file and make sure the line that begins

    define('HTTP_SERVER',

    is set to your url, not your IP

    Hummmm, Well I did that but it still show the IP? I have the URL's hosted at 1and1 and then they are http redirected from there to a new machine I bilt here on site. It is my first time playing with Linux. It is FedoraCore 6 and Apache as the server. We are going to have 3 or 4 stores hosted on here. So I was moving this one from the www/html/root directory into a /home/petestown/public_html directory. Thats when this all started. Because of the thought of multiple websites on this server and since I set up a Apache Virtual Domain Name Server I have lost the style on the page as well as the images from the catalog? I am really kind of lost here to say the least. Yes it has bothererd me that it is showing the IP but I am more concerned with the lose of stlesheet and images. I have done some reading and I am going to look at the htaccess file. But I am not sure what I am looking for LOL

    I have a feeling that if you fix the IP address problem, your display problems will sort themselves out. I had the same problem when I moved hosts but it's so long ago I can't remember exactly how I fixed it.

    Post your configure.php file, without your login and password details and I, or someone else, may be able to help you out.

    Heres where I think your problem lies.

    Change

    define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/petestown/public_html/');

    to this:

    define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');

    And change

    define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/petestown/public_html/');

    to this:

    define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

    Let me know how you get on.

    Are you using a custom template?
    If so, try switching to Classic and see what happens
