Exclude certain products from Paypal option

I intend using Paypal as a payment method for my site, however I sell some products that Paypal do not permit through their system. Is there a module/ method available that would allow me to flag the product as excluded from Paypal payment and subsequently remove the Paypal option from the checkout when one of these products is in the basket?

There does not exist such a facility ... for any payment module.

However, there are ways to do it with custom coding.

What specific criteria would you use to determine which products would trigger the exclusion ? (thinking based on having a populated "shopping cart" in hand)

Thanks for the response. I am not familiar enough with MySQL yet to know exactly how I could flag the products. I had hoped that it would be a simple case of adding a yes/no field to the products database and then have the code check for a positive as a way of determining if the Paypal payment module should be excluded.

Someone must have done this already as Paypal have lots and lots of products they will not allow through their system.

Be careful with the products that PayPal does not allow. They will permanently close your account if they do not like what you are doing/selling. Check with them first.
