text corrupted on steps 1-2-3-4 of checkout in Italian language

Hi everyone, could you please help me with this? I have installed the Italian package but the pages text is go corrupted on steps 1-2-3-4 of checkout in Italian language, everything work fine in English but no text in Italian language but just this, also paypal text and icon are corrupted

Any idea, what I have done wrong? I do use cherry zen template thank you

I need to see your site.

You are missing pages(s) in your language folder.

Sounds like it has something to do with your /some_language/Checkout_process.php

How'd I know that?

You can fix this by finding the missing file in your English directory and translating the necessary text into Italian, Klingon, whatever for any language pack.

Simple- copy and paste some sample text into your Developers Tool Kit inside the Admin (TEXT_ORDER_STEPS) See if that reveals the page you want.

I found several good places that your error could appear from.

Line #27 : define('EMAIL_TEXT_ORDER_NUMBER', 'Order Number:');

Example: On the English page the text says 'text that appears' just translate that and save as the same name but add it to the new language folder. In your new language folder all the pages must be the same as the English Folder or you will encounter more corruptions. It is only the text that the visitor sees that needs to be translated.

Thank you for quick reply, yes I do capisco, I have tried your suggestion and I have found the file, they look fine.. But I will try to translate the English to Italian and put a copy of it to the Italian language folder; do I need to rename the file to Italian? Thank you

My site is www.funkyfreak.co.uk but I haven’t still launch it and doesn’t looking very nice at the moment so please don’t laughing! A couple of products are there but just for testing purpose

No need to rename the file.

Take a look at the includes/language/ directory and you will see an English directory and an English.php

All you are doing is cloning those 2 items but, naming the folder Italian and the english.php page italian.php after you translate the public text.

Ok sorry for the silly question! But do I have to translate all the content of the English folder? If this is the case, I will never finish! Or should I gust rename the folder and translate the english.php page to Italian and rename it to italian.php? thank you
