You will download the whole package. In the installation process, there is an option to install the demo products; do this, because they include a LOT of useful information about using Zen Cart.

Once you have learned how to use ZC, you can reinstall a fresh copy and start your real store with a clean slate.

I used Fantastico offered with my hosting server and it does not give you the option to install the demo. Is there anyway to turn it on?

Option to install zencart demo images/products is not included via Fantastico

Download the full program with the Demo products from Source Forge and re-install using the Zen Cart installer.

the zen cart installer is just what the name inplies,

its a custom installer for zen cart,
and the demo thats its asking about are demo products so you can see how the program runs and all the kool features before you start trying to build a live store

Where is the installer located is a download or contrib. This thing has everything but the kitchen sink. If you can find it.

It is included in zencart download via Source Forge..
so download latest version of zencart from there..
browse to url where you installed..
installer will activate and give you options...
