    Default authorize.net AIM & cc_owner

I've modified the authorize.net AIM module to work with SecurePay (as instructed on their web site by simply replacing the URL).

I have a question about the cc_owner: On the merchant side (SecurePay), the name shows up as the billing address first+last name, NOT the credit card name as indicated on the Zen-Cart invoice!

I looked at the code, the module intentionally uses that field and yet the invoice for the order clearly shows the name on the credit card.. anyone know the thinking behind this?

I'll be changing it to the name on the credit card unless I learn otherwise.
    Thanks,
    Dan

Use whatever works for your purposes.

Technically if the customer changed the "payer" name during the CC process, wouldn't you want to know that new name later in case you had a dispute on the payment?

Yes! Maybe I wasn't clear. It IGNORES the "name on the credit card" and uses the name from the billing address, which can be slightly (does happen) or completely different (rare).

To make matter worse, the invoice retains the correct information for each field (i.e. billing address, name, etc, name on card) but the transaction on the merchant side is processed by replacing the name on the card with the name from the billing address.

It doesn't matter to me any more, SecurePay won't or cannot explain how to get comment1 and comment2 (merchant fields) through their authorize.net aim translator.. ..they just are so clueless. I tried everything I could think of from my end.

I'm switching back to the Sara Jacobson SecurePay.php payment module.
