    Default credit card payment

    I noticed on my zen-cart admin site that in the payment modules, there is a module titled Credit Card that came with zen-cart. I enabled it and tried it out myself on the site. I can make an order with it and type in my credit card info and everything. My question is, does this credit card module work? If so, why do people use authorize.net and linkpoint which cost $? Also, how would I get the money sent via credit card by a customer using this option to my business bank account? It shows an order for $.10 in my admin from myself, but I don't know how to access this money. Any help is appreciated!
