In past ventures to avoid the hassles and issues of PayPal subscription process we have used their Invoicing functions. Though more manual, it worked very well.

With that in mind, has anyone considered an invoicing mod for Zen? I am far from an expert, but it seems doable to set an attribute for a product (say monthly hosting) that would interface with a internal Zen mod you invoice the customer... If said customer does not pay in a specified amount of time the mod would alert the store owner, and service could be discontinued.

This would give the customer their choice of payment, and being a core mod, would be payment processor independent.
