How do i copy categories?

I want to copy the entire contents of one of my subcategories to another. How do i do this?

Unfortunately you can't simply copy a category to make a new one.

What you can do is create the new category where you want it, and then copy the products from the original to the new.

If you want the new products to be linked from the original products, go to a product, click the "c" for copy at the right, and at the bottom of the copy sidebar click on "Multiple Categories Link Manager". Follow the directions.

If you want the products in the new category to be separate from the products in the original category, you will need to copy each product individually, selecting "copy - duplicate".
