Set number of products displayed per page (support thread)

Has anyone added this mod to the "new listings" page? The instructions say it possible... I really just want to add an "all" link to my new products listing. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi Terrill_Taylor,

yes, it is possible. I was able to do it by installing the Single Listing Template. This mod only works if you have column layout grid installed. But it essentially makes your Specials, New Products, Featured Products & All Products the same as your Product Listing

i'm noticing that with an SEO URI module installed, this module doesn't work. I've changed the "&" in set_num_products.php to a "?" That fixed that problem, but i'm having issues with the module working at all (with or without SEO) - using 1.3.9h. I'll be going through all the installation again to make sure i got everything, but the max_display doesn't seem to be registering and $max_results is not coming up as defined.

of course, turns out i, for some reason, had made an override of products_listing.php (who knows why....), but it's defining now. next, i'll work on getting a dropdown to work.

Alrighty then... I got this figured out and working. Now besides making it a drop down (still wanted) how can I make this text display in bold, a different color and spaced away from the "Displaying X to XX (of XX products"? I assume it is in the CSS somewhere.
