i cant install zencart

i have used zencart on a linux server with php4 installed and it worked with no problems, but now the hosting company upgraded to php 5.2.4.
i want a fresh zencart on my site but i'm not able to install it. is there a problem with this version of php?

well, while it was php4 it worked fine. then, after their upgrade i wasnt able to login to the admin section. i've searched the forum and find some solution ( like using file instead of db session, etc). i've tried them, but no results. then i've installed a new version of zencart, but the instalation didn't showed. i've messed a litlle in the .htaccess and the installation started. it worked fine. but then some problems appeared with the checkout page...it didnt appeared. i thought i messed something in the script and reinstall it but now...no install appears

- What version of Zen Cart?
- What addons/contributions are installed?
- Is this upgraded server using Linux still?
- What version of MySQL?
- Are there any identifying errors in your server's errorlog?
- What is the site URL?
- Who is the hosting company?
