    Default Checkout error code

I have not sold one thing since setting up my store so I decided to do a test sale. Much to my surprise I came up in the final stage of the checkout process with this error code:

Warning: reset() [function.reset]: Passed variable is not an array or object in /home/golfplea/public_html/nicnacsdesigns/Boutique/includes/modules/order_total/ot_tax.php on line 38

Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /home/golfplea/public_html/nicnacsdesigns/Boutique/includes/modules/order_total/ot_tax.php on line 39

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/golfplea/public_html/nicnacsdesigns/Boutique/includes/modules/order_total/ot_tax.php:38) in /home/golfplea/public_html/nicnacsdesigns/Boutique/includes/functions/functions_general.php on line 44

I'm not sure what this means, nor how to fix it! Can anyone help me?

I guess now I know why I haven't sold anything.

It's always a good idea to test a real checkout before "going live".

You've installed v1.3.7 but haven't applied the latest PayPal patch.
You can either install and upgrade to v1.3.7.1, which gives you various fixes, or you can install only the latest PayPal patch from here. Be sure to follow the instructions.

What kinds of issues will I have with installing the new version? Will I have to start with an empty store again? Thanks for your reply!

BTW, I'm pretty sure I have done a test sale prior to opening and didn't have a problem. Thought I'd let you know this in case there may be a different problem.

I installed the patch and followed the directions up till the identity token because I did not have a place to put an identity token in the paypal ipn module. I am now getting this error message in step 2 of the checkout process:

We are sorry for the inconvenience. The PayPal account in this store is presently misconfigured to use mixed sandbox and live settings. We are unable to complete your transaction. Please notify the store owner so they can correct this problem. (10002)

It is set on Live in the express checkout module. I must admit I'm new to this and quite confused.

This essentially means you've most likely made a typo when keying or copy/pasting the API Signature details from PayPal's site into your Zen Cart admin. If you're using copy/paste, be sure that you're not pasting extra spaces or other seemingly invisible characters.

If you're using the IPN module, then you should have a spot for the identity token if you've got the latest patch installed. If you're only using Express Checkout, then you won't need the identity token.
