PayPal IPN not showing description

i had another friend buy a 1 cent item, and i didnt recive an order for it even after i accepted it in pay pal.

I tried the PayPal session addon and it says:
displaying 7 records..
then a portion of the first one up to the cartid=>
then shows nothing else. and i have to re login to get back to any admin page.
just my luck....

I am using mtSQL 5. i noticed in this thread:

that they were having the same problems.
should i downgrade to mySQL 4. and whats the best way to do it?
just back up the DB, instal 4? is there any changes that need to be made so zen finds the new instalation?

Switching to mySQL 4 fixed all the PayPal issues. It should be noted somewhere in the documentation/requirements ect.. that the PayPal module is not compatible with mySQL5.

I would do that if I were to encounter the same problems on MySQL 5.
So far, I cannot. I've been using it on MySQL 5 without problems.
