Linking Portions of Image Header - Relative Beginner

Greetings,

I'm a relative beginner to using any PHP. I have created a header image and I would like to link the text portions to the respective areas of the site (Shop, Archive, About, etc.). These are currently all in one image. What do I need to do to link these?

Can someone direct me (a tutorial?) on what approach to use and tell me the associated Zen Cart files? I'd really appreciate the help.

I looked at your site and did not see any text portions to link to as you stated??

Did you change your mind?

I changed the header, deleted the image portions that I wanted to link and went with CSS controlled text links instead.
