Enabling SSL

I have a login form on at the top of the main layout, so it shows up on every page when a guest is browsing. My question is, how can I enable my ssl for all the pages so that if they decided they wanna login on any random page it will be secure?

you will need to make sure that the url in the form is set to use ssl
