order e-mail to manufacturer as well as admin

Yes I did look for it in the search and I found something in the archives which does not let me reply, otherwise I would have done that and not started a new thread, I was wondering if there is a mod out there or even a code, that sends an e-mail to that certain manufacturer after an order is placed.

Yes you can. Go to Admin-Configuration-Email Options

And under that lookup for option 'Send Copy Of Order Confirmation TO.....'. Edit it and add the email addresses whom you want to send seperated by comma

How about something more specific, e.g. "If manufacturer is ACME, send an email to [email protected]. If manufacturer is Microsoft, send email to Microsoft."

I realize the built-in functionality probably can't do it, but was wondering if anyone has met this need.
