    Default New order not showing (echeque)

    I have just received notification of a pending echeque but no order is showing up.

    I see that on another thread its recommended to install a patch but I've never installed a patch before so do I have to install each and everyone of them in the thread that was linked to or just the last one??

    Also will this make the missing order appear?

    I need to know asap as I dont want to make a fool of myself when I email the customer saying "what did you order?". Not professional!

    Have now installed the may 10th patch whilst waiting. That order still hasn't appeared. Could someone please tell me how to get that order back or where I can look?

    I don't have the master password installed because I didn't understand the instillation instructions (it said "insert sql into DB" and I don't get it)

    Further update. Have now looked in phpmyadmin and the new order is not showing up inthe database either.

    Is anyone out there? (A woman in a panic is not a good sight for her hubby-to-be!)

    Latest update (where on earth is everyone??)

    (To help anyone following this with the same problem) I went to this thread:

    and downloaded it. That has now got my order back. But what I want to know now is how do I stop it doing it again?

    Does anyone know if its a connection to echeques/echecks? If so then I will turn that option off.

    1. Prior to installing the patch, your echeck order would likely only appear AFTER the customer's echeck cleared the bank. So, waiting a few days until the order is inserted AFTER you HAVE the money might be prudent.

    2. In the instructions for the May 10 patch, did you also do the PDT token setup? This should help insert the orders immediately after they are placed, and then wait for the echeck to clear and update the order's status from Pending.
    Instructions are in the patch post.

    3. You should also check that PayPal Response Communications are happening properly via the ipncheck.php tool:

    Thank you for your reply.

    I didn't do the PDT thing as I couldn't find the suggested "checkout_process" page to point to. At the moment I have it pointing to http://icklebits.co.uk/index.php?mai...d=17&chapter=0 which I created myself.

    Where can I find the page that it mentions?? I type in that address and change the your_store but its not there.

    I've ran that testing thing and it says communications okay.

    I found that with the echeques. The order does show up in zencart soon as it clears. seems like you just have to wait.

    I have applied this patch with no problem, but the order that was placed has not appeared even though paypal has cleared the echeck and I have received the payment. Could anyone tell me how I can get the order to show up in Admin >> Orders?

    Obviously, at the moment, I do not know what the customer has ordered and would much rather not ask them - if you see what I mean!

    Any help is appreciated.
