how can I change the boxy look of my site with stylesheet?

hello to all of you!
my shop looks a bit "boxy" after i tried to change the appearence... all the pieces hang around and nothing is connected.
what i want is that: i´m fine with the green sparkling background but i want to have another background for the shop - it should all be on one paper, not so boxy

any help is appreciated, i have a basic knowledge of css + html but i´m a newbie in zencart things (also i learn new things everyday :-)

Try adding some transparent curves to the main logo and the background header images in your sidebar. Here is that address of one, to get started.

thanks, but that wasn´t what i meant....i mean: between the left boxes and the middle is some space....and also between the middle and the right side...
how can i make a complete background there?

find the following in your stylesheet.css


.centerColumn

you can change the background-color to transparent and that should get you the look you want.
