Special pricing circumstances

My Zen Cart offers two products, each in three different formats.

E.g.

Product1.ex1
Product1.ex2
Product1.ex3

Product2.ex1
Product2.ex2
Product2.ex3

I would like to offer each product for $10 USD, or both together for $15 USD total.

Product1 has been available for some time, Product2 is a new addition. So people who have already purchased Product1 for $10 USD need to be able to purchase Product2 at $5 USD to maintain a total of $15 USD. Additionally if someone first purchases Product2 alone at $10 USD, they need to have the ability to purhcase Product1 for $5 USD at a later date (and vice versa).

Does this functionality already exist in Zen Cart? Or is there a download that provides this capability?

My apologies if this has been covered. I've searched the forums, Google, and browsed the downloads -- I am just uncertain that any of the results I've found do exactly what is needed.

I know it is possible to send a coupon to already existing customers, but I would prefer to not send spam (or anything that could be perceived as such) if at all possible. Any thoughts?

You can try the better together mod if they're buying both products at the same time.

I think the coupon might be the best bet for the other situation (bought one, wants the other).

Thank you for the recommendations. Better Together installed smoothly, and the initial tests were successful.

I will still look for a module to handle previous customers, as I really do not want to email the existing customers with a coupon. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that they would even receive the coupon. The data needed is all there in the DB, so it should be possible to discount a new purchase based on a previous purchase.

Thank you for pointing me to Better Together, and for your recommendation with the coupon. If you happen to come across a module that will handle the previous customers, please let me know.
