Disabling the Chekout / Shopping Trolly.

G'day All,

Yes, this is a strange question.

I am designing a Cart, that is not to be a Shopping Cart. Yes, that is right, it is NOT a shopping cart.

I am building a website, that I still want to be able to use the Categories and Products, still have prices etc, but I do NOT wand a "add to cart" or "Checkout" Buttons.

I want to be able to put a Subscribe Button in place, that will direct people to a Pre-defined page inside Modern Bill.

Obviously this button will change for different Products in different Categories, and I understand the easiest way would be to have that button in the html body for the product it self, which is ok.

So I need to know how to disable the "add to cart" and just have nothing there.

Any ideas?

Open your Admin> Configuration> My Store> Store Mode - choose Showcase, either with or without prices.

Is there a way to disable the "New Products for (Current Month)"

In place of the Add to Cart is now a blank box for Contact Us. Is it possible to change that to a Sign Up Box, and then have that going to a generic Signup Page? I do realise that this would be one link for all pages.

Or is it possible to delete this button all together. If not, its ok.

You can hide it by adding this to your stylesheet:

#cartAdd {display: none;}
