To move or rename your installation folder: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=122
ccaines - thanks so much for the detailed explanation! SO much appreciated! And it worked GREAT!
Ok so I followed the tutorial on how to rename your zen directory, I read it through then i executed step by step. It did not work, so i reloaded the original configure files and now the site will not load at all.
Any suggestions on how to fix this.

Jeffries Productions,
Don't know how this belongs here - why not your own thread properly titled....
Post nonsensitive parts of your configure.php file - use the code tags to enclose it
yeah if you read some of my prior posts in this thread, my concern was changing my home link. Someone else told me to change it.
Jeffries Productions,
Where is the contents of your configure.php file?
I've been looking through this thread and I was wondering how I can do the reverse. Right now my Home links back to my main website and I want it to link to shop.domain.com
I did originally install zencart in the main domain before deciding I wanted it moved and did a straight copy to the subdomain. Could this be the problem and what do I need to do to fix it?
What did you initially alter to change it?Originally Posted by dragonfibers
I didn't change a thing in the tpl_header.php file that everyone else seems to be modifying to direct you to the specific destination. Mine still had the HTTP_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . code.
I've moved the entire cart software to the shop.site.com but I'm wondering if because it wasn't originally there I need to change some code or preferences to direct it to the new location.
I'm fine hiding the Home in the breadcrumbs but obviously since I want to keep the main site as a static index.html page because of other retail options I need the header and footer links to go back to main shop index.php
Any ideas?
