Removing Sales message goes here???

so i went here after reading this article on the zen cart site....


includes/languages/english/header.php

then i removed tagline

from this area

define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', 'own message');

i put my own message so i uploaded it to my site

when i go to my site the sales messgae here is still there.

how do i take it off....

I am using the classic green template and am having the same issue.

Did you create your own custom template or did you modify the built-in template? You really should create your own template, even if it's just a total copy of the Classic Green template. If you use the built-in template, any time you upgrade your changes can be wiped out.

From the tutorial How do I change the "Sales Message Goes Here" or "Tagline Here" text?

NB: By default the text “Sales Message Goes Here” is located in includes/languages/english/classic/header.php
