Have you ever been able to access your Zen Cart Admin?

When did you install Zen Cart?

    What version are you running?

    Clean install or an upgrade?

How did you install? How did you upgrade?

What have you changed? Has your Host changed something?

Peek at your files in the /admin directory or whatever you might have changed the name to and see if there are any new files or files with different dates from when you were last working on them

When the server attempts to download your index.php as a file, rather than processing it as it normally does, then your webserver is to blame.

It could be a result of a bad PHP configuration.
It could be that the server's too overloaded to handle PHP processing.
It could be that the server is experiencing some other odd timeout problem.

In short ... you need to report the problem to your hosting company. There's probably nothing else you can do about it.

The only other thing (and this is a very low probability, but worth checking out just to be sure) that *might* be a potential cause could be that some uninvited guest might have uploaded rogue content as a result of hacking your site somehow.
