Sideboxes not appearing

Hi,

I'm new to zen cart so apologies if this is trivial...

I'm editing the sideboxes on my homepage and some of the boxes are not appearing. Basically the search, language and currency boxes appear ok but the product notification, tell a friend and shopping cart boxes are missing. As far as I can see, I'm not doing anything incorrectly. Any ideas whats going on?

then scroll down to Column Boxes Costum

Hi Nomad,

thanks for your reply... but I'm aware of the Column Boxes Costum settings menu. The problem is that I am actually turning the column status to ON but the box is not appearing! Any more ideas. Here's the shop (it's crappy at the moment but you'll see the right column is fairly empty (again I have product notification, shopping cart and tell a friend boxes enabled... but they do not display on my homepage!).

The product notification, tell a friend and shopping cart boxes only appear in appropriarte circumstances - product notification and tell a friend on product info pages, and shopping cart when there is something in the cart.
