Mark Catagory as "Not for Sale"

Is there a way to create a catagory (or just a product) as a showroom item only? I want to create a certain catagory for my portfolio including items that are not for sale. I searched for some time, and found out how to make the whole site 'showroom only' but not just one catagory.

You could set those products to Call for Price as these cannot be purchased but can have all of the settings of a regular Product ...

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I just didn't want to get a bunch of calls about something and then have to say that that certain product is just not for sale. I'll go with that though until something (hopefully) better comes along.
