Hey, I'm probably wrong about that, but yea anywhoot.... I just installed zencart to check out how it was and I was wondering.... My dad has a databasing system run on a unix server at work with the system ICarz for auto parts, etc. Now he uses thin client terminals running a system call triad to pull the info from the server and make sales to either remove or add products/change pricing, etc. etc. I was wondering if it is possible to somehow incorporate that system with zencart and what would it take. He has millions of parts in inventory and we constantly make sales all day, so is there a way for zencart to work with the server to stay updated while making it's own sales if possible online? Attempting to sync up multiple databases is hard enough a proposition when they are the same type and construction/structure.

Trying to do this across different DB engines and structures is a near impossible task.
