To Install SQL patches etc.. you need to login to your Admin and go to:

    Tools > Install SQL Patches

Paste the code of the SQL query(s) you want to run into the box and click the "Send" button.

OK I think I did it. But now how do I start using this feature??

Sorry for being a silly noob

In the wiki it says : To use, log into the admin area, click on Catalog->Products with Attributes Stock to modify inventory levels of your products by attributes.

but I don't see the "products with attributes" !?

am I missing something? did I not install it correctly?

No, you are in the right spot.

    1) Did you UPLOAD all the files associated with the install? There are several parts to installing third party add-ons. You have to upload the files that come with the add-on to your server (instructions are usually provided with the package), and then sometimes you have to run an SQL query (as you did).

    2) If you have all the files in place, then have you added any attributes to any of your products yet? If not, you will not see any attributes to run stock against?

To add attributes to a product (like "Red". "Yellow", Small, Large, etc...) you need to first create the attribute name, then create the value.

You can do this by going to

    Catalog > Attributes Controller

Ajeh has provided some great instructions on how to use attributes here:

    Hope that helps!

I believe that is a third party add on correct? If so, have you tried to contact the creator of it to find out how to work with it?

I don't personally have it installed so I can't tell you the "exact" route to take (or I would). The owner of it may be able to direct you down the right path pretty quickly.

Look under the Catalog tab and there should be a listing for "Products with Attributes Stock". That will bring up a screen, then for the product ID, click the link "Add Quantity For Product Variant".

    Hope that helped.
