Template and layout wrong after host move...help please

Hi there,
I have just moved my zencart shop to a new hosting site, but although it seems to have been successful regarding all my items showing up, shipping and payment modules etc...there is a problem...

It does not look the same as it did, I don't think it is 'seeing' the template even though I uploaded the old template along with all the other old files and have made sure that the template selection shows it is pointed at the right one. The colours of background and wording etc aren't showing, also the zencart (not product) images are now the dreaded 'red cross in a box' even though I have checked that the images are there and accessible. Also the layout of my admin area is different as everything is layed out vertically rather than nice drop down boxes along the top of the area. I am at rather a loss as to how I can sort this problem out...all I do know is that I hate the way it is now (I was so happy with how it was before)...and am regreting changing hosts although if I can get this sorted I know it is for the best as this host means I can use an SSL cert which I hope will encourage customers to feel safe buying from me.

For you information I followed all the instructions about how to move zencart, installed the old original version I had used (I am sure I never got round to updating it) then over wrote the new files with old once I knew it was working ok. Imported the old SQL files to over write the new ones etc. The only thing I didn't do and I am not sure if this would be the problem was that I had no idea were to find the 'fix_cache_key' utility that it said to use...hence I haven't done that part.

updated for move to your new webhost..

Youir server is refusing you permission to access your own stylesheets. There's a FAQ Entry on this that may help. Otherwise, I'm afraid it's a conversation with your webhost.

Thanks for the answers and advice. As it turns out after looking at it in a fresh light this morning it turns out that the permission for the includes folder were not set to execute , with a couple of clicks the permissions were changed and everything is now showing up as normal...
Apart from a couple of the newest product pics which aren't showing as silly me forgot to backup the data base before moving hosts...lol
But apart from that all is well again
Now I just have to read the info about installing the shared SSL certificate...
I may be back....
