Stock Quantity Question

I was wondering if someone can help me figure out this problem.

I have had a customer put 10 of one item in her cart, and there were only 8 of that product in stock.

How do I make it so the extra product she ordered don't show up when she's ready to make payment?

That seems to be a problem I'm also having when I set up "Products with attributes stock" also.

Somehow zen cart counts products that don't have the amount they want of a product in stock when they are making payment.

Is there something I can do that will keep this from happening?

It happens every once in a while when customers don't know how to read or look at there cart carfully.

Also, I'm using the latest version of zen-cart.


Please let me know.

Check your Configuration ... Stock Settings ...

You can prevent checkout with too many ordered ...
