image in left col box not fitting horizontally

hi gang
I have a problem with the featured image on the left col box not fitting. www.yankiwi.com i want to be able to change out my products, feature different ones every few weeks, but i currently can only use Vertical products, when i try to use a horizontal one, it bleeds into the main body. i have not changed the image size on the verts, so why would i have to on the horizontals? you see if i do change the image size, it changes it universally. so i have tiny wee horizontals. can someone please help??? this has been horribly constricting!

In FF & IE it looks to be fitting alright???

yes that's because i have a vert in there now, as the horizontal looks totally stupid jutting out into the main body of text! ugh. does anyone know abt maybe a problem with max image sizes affecting the featured box?
