Alas, no joy. There were 11 files with extra space @ the bottom; fixed all, but feed still spits the same error message.

Forgot about the Module Manager. Still have that addon installed too--forgot to list it above, but I'll dump it soon. Still loading product to the cart. zzzzzzzz

Hopefully, Andrew will pop in soon and put his expert eye on this thing too.

Thanks so much for helping. Holla if you think of anything else! I appreciate the time you took to try!

what happens if you change the category name from

    Baby & Bridal Showers

    to Baby and Bridal Showers

(just try it and see if it moves the error along a bit, as & should be converted to & for xml, I think?)

Brilliant! That never occurred to me! lol I did a couple at a time and refreshed the error page. Hilarious...it 'walked' across the screen.

And now we have a new message:

XML Parsing Error: XML or text declaration not at start of entity
    Location: http://fancygiftwrap.com/index.php?m...&feed=products
    Line Number 24, Column 1:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
    ^

At least now I/we know it's tracking along and responds to my action. If only I knew enough to figure out where it's getting the data from.

I'm still looking for it...the end product (the feed) is beautifully done and worth it. I'll have to look back at one of countrycharm's posts too as I only want a couple of feeds.

Thanks guyz...keep pondering! I'm so grateful for the clues and your help!

what have you altered from the default as the xml should be the first line NOT the 24th

when i look at your page via opera i see the following

    21: <script type="text/javascript" src="includes/templates/ashley_pink/jscript/jscript_easySlider.js"></script>
    22: <script type="text/javascript" src="includes/templates/ashley_pink/jscript/jscript_jquery.js"></script>
    23: </head>
    24: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
Have you hacked the RSS file trying to add your template and theme?

If so remove it and return it to the original condition, this is meant to be seen in a feed reader not in a browser, so adding the html stuff kills it

Yep looking at the source of your file, the head section of your site is being included at the top of the rss file, that will definitely kill it.
