Once Flexipoll gets past beta (http://flexipoll.com/), if they do a good job, I'll integrate it into a sidebox for Zen Cart.

This is my punchlist for what constitutes a good job:
- the automatic addition of typed in choices must be switchable (and I would default it to off)
- created polls must be private.
- must not degrade site performance.

Failing that, I'll use another mechanism. The attraction of something like Flexipoll is that it's not bound to a particular webserver technology, and it's less work for zen cart owners to integrate. But we'll see.
