    Thanks Conor,

That I am sure is the problem. I must have loaded the Super Orders and then having read the read me file, given up as you seem to have to rewrite most of Zencart. So I probably gave up, but did not update the sql files hence the files not being found on the database, leading to my confusion. This coincided with the server move and lots of other php files having to be changed.
I will see if uploading the sql patches sorts it out. If not I will try and remove all the files.

    Thanks again

    Hi Conor

    Hope you are well :):)

We had a letter from Barclaycard Business asking to ensure we are set up for the new Debit MasterCard- apparently need to check that the BIN is recognised by Protx (??!!). The range is 5573 47 to 5574 46.

Do you know anything about this - and would that effect your module??

I have emailed protx and will let you know what they say

    Kind regards
    Sarah

I am indeed, thanks for asking! The weather's starting to get nice day to day now so the brief few months a year where Ireland's one of the best places to be are on their way! :)

The module doesn't make use of BIN codes specifically because they keep changing and this would force people to have to continually upgrade. It gets around the need for BIN codes by allowing the customer to choose their Card Type from the drop down... if the customer chooses the wrong card, the system can warn them after it has contacted protx, but in general people
should be okay at selecting a card type fro a drop down! :)

So no need to worry about these changes I should think!

    All the best...

    Hello,

Can someone please tell me how easy it is to upgrade to the payed version of this mod? I have the free mod working and im a bit concerned that I might mess it up when I upgrade.

    Thx

    Hi Again

Was just doing some housekeeping and when checking the Protx FAILED TRANSACTIONS records was surprised to discover loads of INVALID & MALFORMED errors as shown below

Transaction failed Protx validation. Either an INVALID or MALFORMED response was returned.
I have checked on the protx forums and cant seem to get a clear answer as to exactly what this is. Since its making up a very large chunk of lost sales I figured I had better find out.

On a side note: We presently get a rejection rate of 11% through protx - not including duplicates from repeated attempts - it would be interesting to hear what others Commers are experiencing. And while on the subject does anyone know how to review FAILED TRANSACTIONS in Paypal

    Cheers

    Hi Conor,

I have had lots of problems with my provider (45+ seconds to load a page) and have at last moved to a new host who gives me a decent speed due to the size of my database. They had a problem getting Crypt. PEAR_Blowfish installed. They managed this and the warning that I did not have it installed went from the payment module admin screen.
But I can only get the module to work in VSP Simulator mode, it will not work in the Test mode. Is this a problem if I want to go live as I am sure I used to be able to get it to work in the test mode.
Is it because I have not put it on a secure page yet, or is it anything else you can think of.

help question Re: Protx VSP Direct 3.x

I have installed the module and have all the card selected. However on checkout you get the following error on step 2 of the checkout process:-

4006 : The TxType requested is not supported on this account. The value was PAYMENT.

Any idea where I've gone wrong?

Ok I have my last problem fixed but I now find that the expiry date keeps defaulting to 1970 so that people can't place an order. I've been in touch with PROTX and they say that it's something to do with my ZC setup. Does anyone know what I need to do to stop this problem?
