That's something we definitely want to implement. We're snowed under at the minute though so I don't know when it will happen (we are working on new site software which will have newsletter support built in).

If there are any further security upgrades I'll notify you. At the minute there are no anticipated updates for the rest of this year.

No, the confirmation e-mail only applies to Protx Form, using Direct means that no e-mail will be sent by Protx (which is fine as Zen Cart sends one).
