    Default Blank Content in Firefox

My site, www.mymethane.com, works fine in IE. In Firefox, EZ Pages and defined pages show blank white space where the content should appear.

What's weird is that the blank space is exactly the right size for the missing content. Looking at the source code with FireFox, the content appears to be there. And it's not like the content is white-on-white--I can't select it with the cursor, so it appears to be truly missing. Except that it's not missing, because it's occupying the appropriate amount of space.

I'm guessing that some small html glitch is making Firefox treat the content as something other than what it is.

I'd be grateful for any help.

I think you are mis-understanding. If things are NOT displayed correctly in FF, you are doing something WRONG. IE is a buggy explorer with many famous bugs. If you want things to be displayed correctly on most browser, make them displayed correctly on FF first, then you check it on other browsers and make modification if needed.

Hint - check your overall header height

Thanks to Kim for the hint. I'll check it out this morning.

And thanks to the others for their enlightening views of technology. Perhaps you'd like to chime in on Mac vs. PC.

I remember when Firefox was Mozilla. Heck, I remember when the big news on the 'net was FTP. No, it's worse than that. I remember IBM mag-card typewriters. (And my first secretary used carbon paper.)

So the carping about Bill Gates seems kinda old hat to me. Old hat, not Red Hat. Whether it's IE or Mozilla or Mac or PC, what we really need is a single platform (OMG, it's communism!) so that we could make things work once and be done with it.

In the meantime, I'm going to go figure out what Kim is hinting at.

    All the best.

You can dream on, but we will never have a single platform

    This is precious.

    "Overall header height"?

"If things are NOT displayed correctly in FF, you are doing something WRONG."?

Oh, I think not. I added an   to the end of the header file. Fixed.

    Jeez.

Some of the errors can be ignored, while some better get fixed, especially the "Opening and ending tag mismatch" and "Premature end of data"
