minor issue with shopping cart page

Great forum! I just started with zen cart and started playing around with it on a local server. I have read a lot but couldnt find an answer and I am getting quite frustrated.

On the checkout page, there is missing spacing between the number of items and and the total amount. I have turned off the weight in the admin layout settings. I dont know how to fix it and I want to have the amount and number of items displayed. There is suppose to be two spaces where I before amount but its not showing up. I tried changing the them to various things and it doesnt show up. I do not have this file in an override file either.

Opps, meant to say that there is suppose to be two spaces (  ) before the word Amount but they dont show up. I have tried changing    to other things but nothing changes. I do not have this file in an overwrite folder. I am editing straight the default file.

Your screenshot is inconsistent.
The shopping cart says "Items: 10Amount: $500.00"
but the language file you showed indicates that it should say "Total Items: ..."

This suggests that the language file you're showing is not the one that's being used.
Perhaps you have an override that you didn't know you had ?

Do you have backup copies of files in language folders? If you do, either remove them or rename them so they don't end with a .php extension.

Good eye on the inconsistancy. I realized I forgot to remove languages\english\extra_definitions\cart_summary_sidebox.php. I installed a bunch of downloads and forgot to remove it. Thanks!
