Sell gift items

I would like to sell gift items, in this case, magazine subscriptions. I have the Gift Subscription set up as a separate category and product. How can I require the purchaser to enter the gift recipient's name, address, city, state and zip as well as the gift sender's name? Payment is not a question, as the payment would be entered in the same manner it is entered for other items. The payment module currently allows for the Purchaser (Sender) to change shipping address, but that could be a bit confusing. I would rather require the new shipping recipient information on the same page. It sounds like an easy request, and I bet there is an easy answer out there...somewhere.

Use the attributes system on the product page to gather the information needed.

Okay, I have added attributes to my Gift Subscription page. I ran a test and it seems to collect the data. On step 1 of 3 during checkout the following text still appears: Your order will be shipped to the address at the left or you may change the shipping address by clicking the Change Address button.

This could confuse the person purchasing the gift. Can I skip the shipping information page when selling gifts? Can I change the text for step 1 of 3 ONLY for the Gift Subscription page?

You can change the text that is creating the problem - You need that page to charge for the shipping.

There is no additional shipping charge. The gift subscription is a flat fee for a one-year subscription.

I ended up adding fields to the first order page that allow me to collect the name, address and gift sender information. I still haven't figured out how to adjust the layout of those fields. I then set the Gift Subscription info as a virtual product with no shipping info required (since I have already collected the info). That resolves the problem with subscriptions, but this process would not work if more than one item was being sold as a gift. That was why I originally asked if there was a special Send Gift module.

Also, I inadvertently posted this question a second time to this forum, thinking I was posting to a wish list. Sorry.

I know it is a wrong place to ask such kind of question, but can you tell me what kind of items you are offering on your site, is it like handmade paper products items or gadgets.
