Strange issues with inserting images??

I hope I can explain this clearly:

I am insertign an image on the home page, that links to a product. The image is named "Frost2_small.jpg". The images for the product are "Frost.jpg", "Frost_back.jpg". In the past I've noticed a flakyness to adding images if the first 6 or 7 characters are the same. So, for the home page image, I named it "Frost2_small.jpg". When I add it to the home page, it is AUTOMATICALLY being inserted into the product page as an additional image. AND, I cannot get rid of it or it deletes from the home page also. So, I keep gogin to back and forth trying to add it to the home page, WITHOUT it being inserted into the product page. But, it just isn't working.

That isn't flakiness- it is the auto-magic naming convention for additional images on the product details page. Change the name of your image for the main page.
